Academic

Hi, my name is Jeroen Nieboer - welcome to my home on the web! I'm an economics PhD candidate at the University of Nottingham (UK) and I'm affiliated with the CeDEx research centre. My field is behavioural/experimental economics and my main research interests are herding, information aggregation and collective decision making. I set up this web page for a couple of reasons:

  1. to collect and organise notes and other information relevant to my research;
  2. to use a blog for archiving stories about interesting research and its practical applications.

Whenever I have time to update the blog, I hope to offer you some interesting content with a distinct behavioural economics flavour. No 'random thoughts', 'musings' or elaborate descriptions of food, wine or travel - promise! Feel free to comment on any of the stories posted on the blog. Any thoughtful feedback is most welcome.
